Program Description
Department of Communication Technology and Network is established for the purpose to:
Provide and offer courses related to Computer Network and Parallel & Distributed Computing as these fields play a major role in the current development of network application system.
Produce graduates with sufficient skills in network design and analysis who can help accelerate the development of network infrastructure in Malaysia for the success of the Multimedia Super Corridor flagship applications.
Provide as many experts in network system development skills in developing and managing computer network systems to adapt with the latest network technology such as grid computing, wireless and mobile network and high performance computing.
Serve as a centre of excellence for research in network, parallel and distributed computing as well as wireless and mobile network disciplinary field.

Entry Requirement
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
Have received a National Higher School Certificate (or an A Level or the equivalent of 12 years of primary education) with the minimum grade of 80% and above, OR Have obtained a Diploma from recognized Institutions with at least a CGPA of 3.00; AND Have fulfilled specific entrance requirements for some programmes, particularly in the sciences field.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
International students must be proficient in the English Language as this language
is the medium of instruction at the University.
IELTS band 5.5 and above; or
TOEFL iBT score of 60 and above; or
MUET band 3 and above; or
CIEP level 107 and above; or
PTE Score of 43 and above; or
