Program Description
The Department of Computer Science aims to enhance the state of research and practice in three major fields, namely, database, intelligent computing and information security. It is a fast growing department with an inspiring undergraduate academic programme and an outstanding research record.
The department is committed in spearheading world class higher education in computing technology and in producing skilled and able graduates to fulfill the dynamic needs of Malaysia. The department has experienced, friendly and a vibrant community of academic staff ready to guide students in their path towards excellence. The department offers the Bachelor of Computer Science (Computer System) programme.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
Have received a National Higher School Certificate (or an A Level or the equivalent of 12 years of primary education) with the minimum grade of 80% and above, OR Have obtained a Diploma from recognized Institutions with at least a CGPA of 3.00; AND Have fulfilled specific entrance requirements for some programmes, particularly in the sciences field.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
International students must be proficient in the English Language as this language
is the medium of instruction at the University.
IELTS band 5.5 and above; or
