The Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons) programme aims to equip graduates with the right technical and fundamental knowledge for a computing career in an increasingly dynamic business and technology-oriented world. This can be achieved through a blend of theoretical approaches and practical implementation throughout their academic study in order to expose them to contemporary learning. This programme also has been designed to produce graduates who will satisfy the needs of employers as well as self-employment in the 21st century, ready to enter the wide spectrum of Information Technology and computing related employment market.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
All applicants, except those with a degree qualification in art or humanities, must have passed and attained a minimum of the following:

| Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) | 2Cs with CGPA 2.0; and credit in Mathematics at SPM / O-Level; OR |
| Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) | 5Bs (including Mathematics); OR |
| A-Level | 2Ds (and a credit in Mathematics in SPM or equivalent); OR |
| Foundation and Matriculation from Local Institution | Completion of Foundation Programme in relevant field with CGPA 2.0 and credit in Mathematics in SPM or equivalent; OR |
| Diploma | A Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent with a minumum CGPA of 2.5. Candidates with CGPA below 2.5 but above 2.0 may be admitted subject to internal assessment process;
OR Other discipline Diploma: Any other Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 and credit in Mathematics in SPM or equivalent; OR |
