Pioneer Program Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry with Honours is created to instill fundamental concepts in traditional chemistry through courses like physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, and inorganic chemistry and to instill important concepts in the industry through courses like Chemical Technology Principles, Industrial Chemistry, and Industrial Polymer Chemistry. These industry-oriented courses educate students via theories, industrial visits, and case studies. Students, experience is further enhanced with elective courses like Fundamentals of Food Processing and Preservation, Engineering Project Management, Oleochemistry, and Solid State Chemistry.
Objectives
- The objectives (Program Educational Objectives, PEO) of the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry with Honours are to produce:
- professional chemists highly knowledgable in the theoretical and practical aspects as well as versatile and competitive to lead the chemistry field at the national and global levels;
- researchers with research knowledge and skills for innovations and further studies;
- graduates with the potential to be very creative, ethical, and high-integrity officers or entrepreneurs in their respective fields.

Entry Requirement
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
Have received a National Higher School Certificate (or an A Level or the equivalent of 12 years of primary education) with the minimum grade of 80% and above, OR Have obtained a Diploma from recognized Institutions with at least a CGPA of 3.00; AND Have fulfilled specific entrance requirements for some programs, particularly in the sciences field.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
International students must be proficient in the English Language as this language
is the medium of instruction at the University.
IELTS band 5.5 and above; or
