Program Description
This Bachelor of Science (Environmental and Occupational Health) was first initiated in the year 1998 with the first batch of students graduating in the year 2001. To date (the year 2011), a total of 11 batches of students have graduated from this program.
This program encompasses fundamental and integrated knowledge in the field of Sciences, Health Sciences, Environmental Health, Occupational Health, and Community Health. Students are exposed to various learning techniques in order to maximize their learning potential.
Methods of learning include lectures, tutorials, seminars, laboratory sessions, self-directed learning, case studies, computer-assisted learning, fieldwork, practical training and industrial attachment in government and private agencies, presentations, course work as well as scientific research projects

Entry Requirement
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
Have received a National Higher School Certificate (or an A Level or the equivalent of 12 years of primary education) with the minimum grade of 80% and above, OR Have obtained a Diploma from recognized Institutions with at least a CGPA of 3.00; AND Have fulfilled specific entrance requirements for some programs, particularly in the sciences field.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
International students must be proficient in the English Language as this language
is the medium of instruction at the University.
