Program Description
The programme focuses on developing practising pharmacists who can make a real difference to patients’ well-being while having a rewarding career.
The knowledge of drugs will progress from the study of how drugs are made and analysed for purity, to how they are formulated into dosage forms acceptable to patients; and their use in the prevention and treatment of diseases. The programme integrates scientific knowledge while attaining practical, clinical and professional skills, to equip students to be competent healthcare professionals of the future.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
Foundation in Science, Ministry of Education Matriculation – CGPA 3.0 including a minimum of B in Chemistry
Sijil Pelajaran Tinggi Malaysia (STPM) – CGPA 3.0 with BBB or AAC or 1A1B1C in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics or Mathematics, including a minimum of B in Chemistry
A-Level – BBB or AAC or 1A1B1C in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics or Mathematics, with a minimum of B in Chemistry
Diploma in Pharmacy – CGPA 3.5 or above
Diploma in Science (Chemistry/Biology/Physics) – CGPA 3.75 including a minimum of B in Chemistry
Degree in Science – CGPA 2.75 or above
Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) – B4 or 70% in 5 subjects in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, and Additional Mathematics (or one other subject)
Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT),
Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE),
South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) – Minimum ATAR of 80% or CGPA 3.00 in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics or Mathematics, with a minimum of B in Chemistry

All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSC) – Minimum 85% or CGPA 3.00 in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics or Mathematics, with a minimum of B in Chemistry
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) – Grade 12 with minimum of 85% or CGPA 3.00 in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics or Mathematics, with a minimum of B in Chemistry
Canadian International Matriculation Programme (CIMP) – Pass with minimum 65% aggregate in 6 subjects including Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics with a minimum of B in Chemistry
Other equivalent qualifications – Will be considered on a case-by-case basis
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
For Foundation in Science, Matriculation, and Diploma students: Pass SPM with a minimum of 5Bs in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics (or Additional Mathematics), and one other subject
All Malaysian citizens to pass Bahasa Malaysia and English with minimum of Grade C in SPM or equivalent
English requirement:
• Malaysian University English Test (MUET) with minimum Band score of 3 or
• Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scoring 550 or
• International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) with minimum of Band 6 (5.5 for each skill – Writing, Reading, Listening/Speaking) or
• Cambridge English Qualifications and Tests (Linguaskill) with minimum score of 154
