Registered Degree Nurses continue to emerge as leaders in the health care system. Nursing is an honored profession, and unique from other health disciplines. They are highly recognized for their positions in administration, education, graduate studies, and many other disciplines.
The Bachelor of Nursing in UPM continues its tradition in nursing education by offering a contemporary curriculum including core and specialty nursing courses that prepare graduates to provide care to people of all ages and in all settings. This program offers a 4-year degree that has been fully approved and accredited by the Nursing Board Malaysia. In addition, the International Center of UPM supports globally International nursing experiences through international student exchange, which allows students to expand their knowledge and skills in nursing care.

- Nursing graduates may pursue a career in the field of education, They can be nurse educators and clinical instructors in colleges and universities
- As clinical practitioners in hospitals or communities graduates can also be nurse managers, rehabilitation nurses, counselors, health educators/advisors, nurse consultants/specialists, diabetic nurses, and an occupational health nurse
- Graduates can also undertake postgraduates course in any field and become researchers
Entry Requirement
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
Have received a National Higher School Certificate (or an A Level or the equivalent of 12 years of primary education) with the minimum grade of 80% and above, OR Have obtained a Diploma from recognized Institutions with at least a CGPA of 3.00; AND Have fulfilled specific entrance requirements for some programs, particularly in the sciences field.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
International students must be proficient in the English Language as this language
is the medium of instruction at the University.
IELTS band 5.5 and above; or
TOEFL iBT score of 60 and above; or
MUET band 3 and above; or
CIEP level 107 and above; or
PTE Score of 43 and above; or
Cambridge English (CAE/CPE/Linguaskill)
