Student who has completed Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM), A-Level, Matriculation, Foundation, Diploma, UEC, International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB), HND(UK) Diploma, SAME/WACE/AUSMAT or other equivalent qualifications recognised by Government of Malaysia. Keen interest in Computing field of study especially in the area of System and Networking. May complete education at Bachelor level to become professional or entrepreneurs, or may pursue in related Postgraduate programmes.
PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS
The Department of Systems and Networking of CCI offers a high profile Computer Science undergraduate programme which leads to the award of Bachelor of Computer Science (Systems and Networking) (Hons). This programme is designed to prepare students for professional careers by equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills in the area of communications and networking, operating systems, mobile and embedded technologies, computer security, artificial intelligence and other related fields which are relevant to the needs of the fourth industrial revolution (IR4.0).
The programme is value-added in order to cater to the latest industry requirements by integrating selective syllabus from CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associates) certification courses within its curriculum. In addition to this, the Bachelor of Computer Science (Systems and Networking) (Hons) programme is also designed to enable students to pursue higher qualifications in system and networking such as to obtain a higher level specialised networking certification as well as Master of IT or Master of Computer Science and Doctor of Philosophy from reputable institutions of higher learning.
120 credit hours of subjects are being taught in nine semesters. This Bachelor of Computer Science (Systems and Networking) (Hons) programme can be completed in 3 years.

Pass STPM with minimum Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any 2 subjects and minimum credit (Grade C) in Additional Mathematics or Mathematics and Science / ICT at SPM Level. - A-Level
Pass A-Level programme. - Matriculation
Pass Matriculation programme with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, minimum of credit (Grade C) in any 2 subjects and minimum credit (Grade C) in Additional Mathematics or Mathematics and Science / ICT at SPM level. - Foundation
Pass Foundation programme in related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, minimum of credit (Grade C) in any 2 subjects and minimum credit (Grade C) in Additional Mathematics or Mathematics and Science / ICT at SPM level. - Diploma
Pass Diploma programme in related field with minimum CGPA of 2.50 and pass (Grade E) in Additional Mathematics at SPM level. - UEC (Unified Examination Certificate)
Pass UEC with Grade B in any 5 subjects including Mathematics. - International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB)
Pass IB Diploma programme. - HND(UK) Diploma
Pass HND in related fields with a minimum CGPA 2.00. - SAM / SACE / WACE / VCE / TEE / AUSMAT

Note : Candidates without Mathematics requirement as specified above may be accepted by passing the bridging courses provided by UNITEN.
ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS
For International Students:
International students are required to have one of the English proficiency score stated below to enrol in UNITEN. Bachelor students who do not fulfill this English requirement are required to sit for the Intensive English Programme (IEP) and pass the requirement below before starting their Bachelor programme.
