Bachelor of Business Economics (HONS)
The Bachelor of Business Economics (Hons) is specifically designed to equip students with a strong knowledge in business and economics and their application to the real business environment. The course offered is being specifically structured to produce excellent professionals who have in-depth knowledge of business and economics and are capable to bring out excellent ideas especially in the Malaysian business environment. The course offered is being specifically planned to provide students with strong theoretical and practical knowledge in business economics before they can pursue on to the factual world of the business sectors or go on with their studies to obtain the Master’s Degree in Economics or in other MBA programmes.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)
A pass in STPM or its equivalent, with a minimum Grade C in any 2 subjects, and Pass SPM with Credits in Bahasa Melayu and Pass in Mathematics and Bahasa Inggeris at SPM level. - Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)
Pass STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid (taken within 2 years prior to application); and Credit in Bahasa Melayu and Pass in Mathematics and Bahasa Inggeris in SPM Level. - A-Level
Pass A-Level with a minimum of 2.00 or Grade C in 2 subjects and Pass. - Matriculation
A pass in Matriculation qualification or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and Pass SPM with Credit in Bahasa Melayu in SPM Level. - Foundation
A pass in Foundation qualification or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, and credits in Bahasa Melayu in SPM Level. - Diploma
Pass Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, and credits in Bahasa Melayu in SPM level. - UEC (Unified Examination Certificate)
A pass in UEC with a minimum Grade B in any 5 subjects. - International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB)
A pass in IB with minimum of 30 points - HND(UK) Diploma
Pass HND in related field with minimum CGPA 2.00. - SAME/WACE/AUSMAT
Pass South Australian Matriculation (SAM) and South Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) with 70%, or South Australia Certificate of Education (SACE) and Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) with Band 2 in 2 subjects. - Others
Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Government of Malaysia.
ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS
For International Students:
International students are required to have one of the English proficiency score stated below to enrol in UNITEN. Bachelor students who do not fulfill this English requirement are required to sit for the Intensive English Programme (IEP) and pass the requirement below before starting their Bachelor programme.
- MUET – Malaysia University English Test
Achieve Band 3 and above - IELTS – International English Language Testing System
Achieve 5.5 and above
TOEFL – Test of English as a Foreign Language
Achieve 550 (TOEFL) or 46 (TOEFL Internet Based Test) and above
