The Bachelor of Biotechnology is designed to provide comprehensive education and training in biotechnology focusing on three core areas, namely agriculture, medical and industrial biotechnology discipline areas
In addition to the hands-on practical sessions, students will be exposed to a progressive curriculum comprising of scientific principles and knowledge in molecular cloning, genome editing, cell tissue culture techniques, bioinformatics analysis, bioprocessing technologies, techniques and instrumentations in research and development, as well as business and entrepreneurship skills.Â

PREREQUISITES
SPM / O-Level with Pre-U / Foundation
Pass SPM/O-level or equivalent with 5 credits in Mathematics and one science subject for entry with pre-university /foundation qualification. (Except for UEC)
SPM / O-Level with Diploma
Pass SPM with three (3) credits in Mathematics, one science subject and one any other subject for entry with Diploma qualification.

Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)

A Pass in UEC with Min 5Bs including Mathematics and one Science subject

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
Students will be exposed to scientific principles and knowledge, bioinformation technologies, laboratory techniques in research development, business and entreprenuership skills, as well as legal, intellectual, social and ethical issues.
